It’s not allowed. Cars cannot stay up all night in the parking lot of the Zubiarte Shopping Center. It is from 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, the day of the event, when cars can enter without having to take a ticket (free of charge until 5:00 p.m.!)
In the registration bag there is a paper envelope containing the number etc. The 50% discount voucher is printed on the paper bag itself, which must be shown at the entrance.
The director’s car leaves ahead of the first group at 8:00 a.m. and will take the Classic route at an average speed of 27.5 km/hour and will arrive at the finish line at 12:15 p.m. The broom car will leave behind the last group at 9:00 a.m. and will arrive at the finish line around 2:30 p.m. The participants have to be between these two vehicles, otherwise they will cease to be as indicated in our regulations. As a consequence, from that moment on they would not enjoy insurance (in the case of non-federated members) or medical assistance.
From the organization we try to do everything so that the participants do not suffer stoppages and that there is a situation as safe as possible. This does not mean that with thousands of cyclists and with a departure from and arrival in a city like Bilbao there may be some stoppage caused by the number of cyclists or by traffic devices.
Remember that the Occident Bilbao-Bilbao is a non-competitive cycling race without time registration.
We will be waiting for you the 15th of march 2026!
